Listening to Roger Clemens get interrogated right now. Can't see him sitting outside the Rayburn Building right across the street from the Capitol, but boy can I tell he's sweating. Clemens' testimony right now is shaky, at best. He's using words like mis-remember to describe Andy Pettite's interpretation of events. He doesn't appear nearly as defiant as he has throughout his denials over the past week OR during his opening statement.
I'm still listening...stay tuned!
I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M FINALLY ON YOUR MY BLOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Stephen, I must say I love the work that you do! We don't have many black men that know WHAT THEY STAND FOR! What they are talking about and where they are going(and can wear a suit like that) I had to add that. I am a single mom of a freshman college student and he knows how I love to watch when I can. He loves his 76ers even though A.I is gone but he calls me whenever you are on ESPN. Keep up the excellent work that you do and I'll continue watch when I can. God Bless! Michelle Jones

He is sweating, licking his lips and sucking down that water, and he is beet red.

I’ll admit, I’m not a baseball fan – so I can’t fully appreciate the significance of this whole deal. But, what’s the purpose of these hearings? What can Congress really do to him? They can’t definitively prove anything. It’s a little late for a blood test. And it’s not like they will get him to actually admit to using - his Attorney would never allow that to happen. So, I think this is a big waste of tax payer’s dollars. Frankly speaking – the only person who wins is R. Clemons Attorney.

Good post 'Cultural Critic". And good to see SAS has a forum to express himself sans shouting:-. but on the real SA, i do appreciate your commentary and opinions and your diverse interests. However, I want to introduce another perspective. In this age of multi-million dollar contracts/endorsements etc...which one of us sitting here would not...consider and in some cases do what these guys have been accused of. In our daily occupations, we each do things for that 'edge"...and these guys do the same thing. But from a deeper point of view..their 'cheating'...there drive for an edge is due to our fan worship of their performances. So in a way it`s a vicious cycle, and once owners are shelling out contracts big enough to put a dent in the national debt, these men will always seek an edge.Maybe WE as look at our involvement in this...we are an entertainment driven culture. a culture that rewards athletes significantly more than doctors and teachers. However, we are in a society driven by fear generated by the media and our "leaders". So I look at it as a cycle...one in which we need to look at our 'fan-hood" and the type of society we live in.however, i do want to see Clemens treated with same scrutiny and criticism as BB has recieved, because if not another one of our culture`s shortcomings come into play...racism...but that discussion is for another day.
